Synopsis
On a prison farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and come together in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat. Reference to Korman Productions Deep Dive TV Podcast: A Cup of Tea on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 "Think About the Bubbles"/"My Little Lighthouse" (2024).
The visual effects were also quite grotesque!
I wasn’t sure about the show until the end of the second series. No spoilers, but the sound effects alone were so visceral that I was excited to see more!
Blood reminds me of the fun 80s/90s
years of horror practical effects, but mixed with CGI. The show finds its footing at the end of the second episode.
New fun series 🙂
I think it’s perfectly acceptable for showrunners to take their time working on the story – we used to spend a lot more time on series when 24 episodes was the norm. I will be interested to see what direction the series takes going forward.
