Synopsis
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; discover if their relationship can survive their wildly different lives and family meddling. It’s original title is “Shiksa” which is also the last word of the first episode.. Loved this so much! Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has so many strengths – + I FELT the chemistry between the leads. It seemed natural and harmonious. They played the characters very well! + The dialogue and relationships between the characters seemed funny, witty and touching at their best. + In a world that advertises representation, I saw a Jewish male love interest for the first time. I think it showed the beautiful and inclusive parts of religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way. Great writing, great cast and incredible chemistry made this watch for me, followed by a quick search for "Will there be a season 2?". I liked that!
